I grew up eating this delicious Strawberry Pretzel Salad.
That’s right it’s called a salad.
But truly it IS dessert. 🙂 That’s okay though. I’m fine calling it salad.
Strawberry Season
I know it’s already Strawberry Season in some parts of the country but ours doesn’t usually start here in Indiana until June. That Doesn’t stop me from wanting to eat this delicious Dessert.
The foundation is a pretzel crust layered with a creamy cheese cake middle and sweet berries and jello over the top. Seriously I have trouble leaving it alone so I only make it for guests or a special dinner.
The combination of the sweet and salty and the ease of which it can be made is truly a win in my book. On top of that it can be made a day or two before serving.
I think you may want to save this “Salad” to your recipe box as well.
