This week I helped our Kid Ministry Team get ready for Their Fall Ball Event. It was a Daddy/Daughter Date night that included a photo booth, and a hot chocolate bar.
I love it when Papa’s are encouraged to share memories and love on their little women! Such a love tank filler and confidence builder.
Filling Heads with Dreams
I was behind the scenes at this event adding just a few touches to help the magic happen.
For this event, I planned out simple tablescapes, a hot chocolate bar, and a photo booth.
To accomplish this photo booth I needed just 4 old doors and several old pieces of wood for rafters.

The Paper stars were fun to make as explained in my previous post.
The Hot Cocoa Bar
The second area I focused on was the Hot Cocoa and Drink bar.
The Old Cabinet and Pink Headboard were so fun to style for this sweet night of fun. Really the uniqueness of old furniture tells a story without having to do much. I just fill in the gaps with a few extras.
Simple Tablescapes on a budget
The Simple tablescapes were created with books, wooden rounds, lentils, pumpkins, leaves, sticks, and vines.
The Craft paper with a ribbon running down the middle is the perfect backdrop to scroll messages or truth to the little princesses.
Creating beauty in the ordinary, every day is always my goal.
